Role requirements

NQF level 6 qualification or higher; minimum three years’ relevant experience. Knowledge of Disaster Management Act, disaster risk reduction, government systems and public finance. Coordinate integrated early warning systems, support priority and secondary hazard interventions, provide technical support for warnings and risk information systems, and perform managerial functions.
