Role requirements
National Diploma in Mining Engineering (NQF6), Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency, minimum 3 years’ mining experience and valid driver’s license. Conduct mine safety audits and inspections, enforce compliance, investigate accidents and complaints, analyse trends, serve on examiners’ boards and provide inputs on mining rights, closures, regulations and regional reports.
