Role requirements
Relevant engineering degree, advanced diploma or B Tech (NQF 7), Mine Manager’s or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Mines) competency certificate, minimum 5 years’ senior/middle management mining experience and valid driver’s licence. Manage Mine Health and Safety Directorate, audits, inspections, accident investigations, equipment testing and licensing, and examiners’ boards. SMS Pre-Entry Programme certificate required before appointment.
