Professional Nurse Grade 1 (Pn-B1): Advanced Midwifery

Role requirements

Two posts. Grade 12 plus nursing qualification, SANC Professional Nurse and Midwifery registration (2026), and at least one-year post-basic Advanced Midwifery qualification. Grade 1 requires four years’ nursing experience; Grade 2 requires fourteen, including ten in the specialty after qualification. Provide specialized midwifery care, manage resources, supervise standards and support staff development.
