Role requirements

Grade 12; General Nursing degree/diploma; SANC Professional Nurse registration and 2026 receipt; one-year post-basic Psychiatric Nursing Science qualification; four years post-registration nursing experience. Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care, supervise nursing plans and resources, maintain patient records and safety, participate in audits and quality improvement, and support unit management.
