Role requirements

LLB or appropriate legal qualification for serving prosecutors seeking promotion; five years’ post-qualification legal experience and five years’ relevant criminal advocacy/drafting experience. Statutory right of appearance, valid driver’s licence and provincial travel required. Guide tax and commercial investigations, prosecute cases, handle appeals, mentor stakeholders and liaise with SARS.
