Role requirements

NQF7 undergraduate qualification in Environmental Science/Environmental Management or related field; five years’ middle/senior managerial experience; SMS Pre-entry Programme before appointment. Requires natural resource management, policy, financial and project management knowledge. Lead biodiversity and climate change responses, biosafety legislation, invasive species and GMO strategies, risk assessments and multilateral negotiations.
