Role requirements

Grade 1: BLS course and HPCSA Basic Ambulance Assistant registration. Grade 3: ILS course and HPCSA Ambulance Emergency Assistant registration. No post-registration experience required. Treat and transport patients, provide emergency care and manage EMS resources. Shift work and physical and medical surveillance expected.
