Role requirements

LLB Degree or relevant qualification; eight years’ relevant post-qualification experience; valid driver’s license. Requires law administration, departmental procedures, policy, risk management and professional writing knowledge. Administer appeals focusing on Oceans and Coasts, respond to stakeholders, convene committees, draft ministerial submissions and decisions, prepare briefing notes and support litigation.
