Medical Physicist Grade 1-3

Role requirements

Appropriate qualification and current HPCSA Medical Physicist registration for independent practice. Grade 1: no post-registration experience; Grade 2: eight years; Grade 3: sixteen years. Provide radiotherapy, nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology physics services, dosimetry, quality assurance, radiation protection, equipment commissioning, treatment planning support and training.
