Published packageGrade 1: R1 395 528 per annum Grade 2: R1 592 274 per annum Grade 3: R1 899 182 per annum The all-inclusive remuneration package consists of 70% basic salary and 30% flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules. Other Benefits: 22% of basic salary – Rural Allowance & Commuted Overtime (conditions apply)

Role requirements

Matric; MBChB and FCS / Surgery; qualification allowing HPCSA specialist registration; current 2026/2027 registration. Grade 1: no experience; Grades 2/3: five/ten years after specialist registration. Provide specialist surgical and trauma care, emergency services, outreach, supervision and teaching; conduct audits, research and administrative duties.
