Published packageGrade 1: R1 395 528 – R1 479 723 per annum Grade 2: R1 592 274 – R1 688 553 per annum Grade 3: R1 844 151 – R2 301 186 per annum (All-inclusive salary packages, which consist of 70% basic salary and 30% flexible portion that may be structured in terms of applicable rules). Other benefits: Rural allowance 18% of basic salary. Commuted Overtime - Conditions applies.

Role requirements

Grade 12, MBChB and qualifications allowing HPCSA registration as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist; current HPCSA registration 2026/2027. Grade 1: no experience; Grade 2: five years; Grade 3: ten years’ relevant specialist experience. Deliver clinical services, coordinate care, undertake quality improvement, teaching, research, overtime and outreach.
