Medical Specialist Sessions: Endocrine

Role requirements

MBCHB, current HPCSA Medical Specialist registration, FCP(SA) or equivalent and endocrinology sub-specialist qualification. Assess and manage endocrine conditions and medical emergencies. Provide specialist outpatient services, teaching, trainee supervision, interdepartmental consultations, statistics and clinical audits. Eight hours weekly; sessional appointment not exceeding 12 months, subject to annual review.
