You can show evidence before you have a formal job title.
Projects, practical study, family responsibilities, volunteering, informal work and community roles can all demonstrate relevant skills when described honestly.
Start with the role, not an apology
Name the type of work you are targeting and choose evidence that supports it. Do not open with “I have no experience.”
Evidence you may already have
- School or college projects
- Volunteer or church responsibilities
- Sports, societies and leadership
- Helping a family or community business
- Freelance, casual or piece work
- Online training with a completed practical project
Turn activity into evidence
Fictional example
Coordinated weekly attendance for a 24-person youth group, followed up absences by phone and kept the contact list current.
Do not invent experience
A small truthful example is safer and more useful than a claim you cannot explain in an interview.
